Today, Part A
Well I went to “Summer O” this weekend with my daughter. She is a freshman at Murray State University! Could this B anymore exciting?? The whole thing is just so great for her. She is looking forward to this so much. Oh and me, well, I could not be any prouder. Two years ago I was in the middle of teenage hell. Now she is appearing to somewhat come out the other side of that. There is a maturity there in her thoughts and actions that let me know she is well on her way to “grown up” but I also love the fact that in the hotel room, I look over at the other bed and she is eating starburst!!! “I am not a child” she screams with Kool Aid all over her shirt and a Kool Aid smile on her face!
